Trademark ‘Internet Genesis Project’ will not be deleted!
By Judge Dredd • Jun 3rd, 2009 • Category: TrademarksThe German Patents and Trademark Office has decided that the registered trademark INTERNET GENESIS PROJECT (Reg.No. 306 19 156.3/35) (Owner: Cash Money Brothers Ltd. & Co. KG, Hamburg, Germany) will not be deleted (DPMA decision of May 26, 2009) because of an oppositon. Good for us!
The Opposition was filed by a German Company called ‘Genesys telecommunications Laboratories GmbH’ from 81829 Munich. The Petitioner based its opposition on three identical trademarks ‘GENESYS’ (Reg.No. 1056366, 1076990 and 1175052) and lost the proceedings. Bad for them!
